Bike Respray....

Has anyone gone down the path of a respray to original colour? I have a 2005 Grey/Black and am thinking to spruce her up with a refresher paint job but have no idea of what the cost may be... Has anyone done this recently and what was the spend?

You would need to budget on around $4K retail.

4k would go close to replacing all you fairings with new ones

Well I took her to the spray dude and he looked over my 05 and told me tree was nothing wrong with the paint but new stickers may be in order. Bugger me if a spray painter wont do a job that dos not need to be done! Normally they just get $$ in the eyes! I was told I am too fussy!

Take it to a paint restoration specialist if you still want to see an improvement.
I was always skeptical to say the least on people selling snake oil paint corrections, but a friend of mine does it and the results are simply unbelievable.
He's too far away for you but there should be someone near you offering a similar service.
