HI Surfa,

The general consensus, and experiences, is that you need to reseal the glass on the cheaper units. Generally speaking you simply remove the glass and use a suitable silicon or sealant then install. After that there seems to be little mention of issues.
I think I can remember 1 person saying fitment wasn't great but I could be wrong.

I have been looking at a set myself and now waiting for them to coime out with ytellow LEDs to suit my yellow L3 lol
