Bollards are good (maybe),

but you should see the damage tyre spikes can do too!

Patricks have them fitted to the gates at Webb dock (just under the Westgate bridge), and some of the drivers are morons and don't wait for them to retract before driving off, resulting in blown front tyres and damaged rims ($5000 damage) plus a hefty fine!
