Hey guys,
Well. I wish i had been active on here but this year has been fairly hard.
Almost had to consider sellin the bus. But its not to be.
Today i got a confirmed job offer on the Goldcoast, Southport. So as i type this a new rear tire
Is being fitted. I have to leave tomorrow.
I was wondering if anyone could give tips on the best way to head up there and where to stay?? Doing this on limited funds is hard. But is needed because on the 25th of June i have a bone graft and wrist fusion scheduled which means i cant ride for a fair while.
On the good side.... I get to ride to the goldcoast!!!!!!

How long are you on the coast for? If it's only a few weeks you could pre-book at a dingy motel, The GC is full of them. You would have to ring around before you go and lock one in. It's the off season and anyone on the coast running a motel would just love to have a room ocupied for a few. There is even an online booking mob that lists all the specials. If it was me I would call up and offer "cash" and see what they said.

I hope so Baz! :)
Its for 5 weeks or till my wrist surgery on the 25th of June. I have a place to crash while I am up there for the first week or two.
But then I need to find my own place.
Trying to think of where to stop along the way as well.

Thanks a million mate - I might take you up on that as I am not 100% sure when I will leave melbourne tomorrow.
Just dropped the oil and changed the oil filter - that side panel removal is a total prick! LOL Well - compared to the Gen 1 anyway.
I am going to get some food and plan out the trip so I might PM you in an hour or so - other wise my number is
0447410073.
Cheers mate!!

Hey Pan!!
Last minute change has landed me staying now in Yass :( Just outside of the ACT with my sister :(
Really didn't want to do that. Considering getting a cheap room for the night around liverpool... but will make that choice
tomorrow.
I'll post if I can be around Sydney as I'd really like to meet up with you guys! :)
Cheers!

Raz there is a bed and a garage at 1hotbusa (Graham) and my place at Rooty Hill (not far from the M7) if you want a place to stay. Warmer than Yass and a bit further on than Liverpool. Just PM me for the address.
