[DON'T] Do The Nerriga Bump!!!

Heya guys.....

...just a quick shout out to all the guys that came along on the ride out to Nerriga Pub last Saturday...

In regards to that bastard little obstacle that mostly all of us encountered about 6 corners directly before the hotel...

Yesterday, in anticipation of the inaugural annual AHC club track day coming up at EC next fortnight, I had some sticky new tyres (BT-003's) installed on my spare set of rims, and then had them swapped over with the current running gear...

My suspicions directly after the contact had been made have now sadly been confirmed - after removal of, a quick inspection has revealed front & rear rims have both been damaged (the front slightly more than the rear)!!!

So dudes, that WAS a big hit that most of us encountered.....next chance you get, check your rims for damage.....hopefully you'll be a bit luckier than I have been in this instance!?!

Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't
If they have been working on the road (in Vic anyway) and it causes you an issue there liable, if they do not address an issue with the road there not

My brother hit some ruts in a local dirt road caused by a truck going up the road in the wet several months earlier, put the hilux sideways & sent him rolling across the fence and into the paddock, steel post through the roof where his kids normally sit ... no liability and no compensation ,
Must have been pretty quick as he has something like 15 yrs speedway car experiance and going sideways is nothing new , i would have thought that pretty much 10 times out of 10 he would have caught it and driven out of the slide
Yet another road near here they put sharp stones down, constantly getting punctures on it and the council pays for replacement tires ???
figure out the sanity in that...

up here if you get a broken window on a dirt road ,the council foots the bill, but you must be in a newish kind of car ,
