Greetings guys , for anyone travelling south through Bega Nsw - a few Km south on the princess Hwy there is a LOT of road works going on where they have stripped the road back to bare soil - and they are using water carts all day to keep wet / and in the rain its slippery as hell , a few bikes have come unstuck already - so if your going this way , for safety ( especially if its wet ) PLEASE go south Via Kalaru .. that is

Go into Bega - head towards signs posted Tathra , the right turn at Kalaru at saphire coast road Marked as Merimbula - at Merimbula you can rejoin the Princess Hwy

Please forward this to other bike forums - the main work is around the Candelo turn off - but does extend now for a few Kms

In the wet in the past week , i was sideways in my Patrol with aggressive offroad tires , was like ice - so please be safe and avoid the area if raining ..
