Does this include adjusting/tuning rebound and compression etc to suit the rider?

I have been looking for someone for a long time to re-spring and re-valve my standard setup to suit my weight (120kg) as I have basically wound everything up to maximum and I'm still not happy with the ride.

How would a rear shock with all this gear fitted compare to say an ohlins rear shock?

Cheers, ryan

Any rear shock that is upgraded will work better. But it wont be an 0hlins shock. You still retain your stock clickers.

The Ohlins gear is infinately adjustable as the valves have replaceable shim stacks, but in saying that you wouldn't pull a shock apart 20 times searching for the perfect setting for the road. The cost would be prohibitive and unlike Ohlins gear which is designed to be worked on, they dont really take to what would amount to so many rebuilds.
It is a compromise setting. But a better one than standard.

Need your weight with and without gear on. Whether you carry a pillion or not. % of road and track use.

A track focussed bike will be stiffer than a road going biased bike.

WE will do suspension from anywhere in the country. Just send it to us.

Adjusting the clickers.

Apart from the intial set up, this is a service we will offer but it is not incuded in this price. We will take into account your position of the clickers and compared to standard positions that the bike should have been set at when you picked it up and will set the shock up accordingly.

A suspension specialist, well no. I have done an intro to Ohlins course in Germany with a shop over there and I have studied here in Australia what has been available. I have a mechanic that worked with Wayne Clarke for many years and was the head Mechanic for Japanese race school for 10 years after that. He has worked with serveral top Japanese riders that went on to be GP riders as well. His name is Dave Brownlee.

Between him and myself we have been working with suspension for the last 6 moths or so and we can offer this service now with confidence that you will get what we advertise.

I have all the tooling coming as well as the right stuff from Ohlins for the cartridge forks etc We are also able to regas rear shocks in house.

Remember your front forks will have the latest FPK valves and Ohlins spring for the same price as Racetech. Thats a $300.00 saving and you cant get better.
