I thought that some of you might be interested in this achievement by FarRider Ox-34. I know its not a 'Busa but its gotta be right up there with 'big rides'! This ride has just been 'signed off' by Iron Butt - FarRiders is the Oz connection. Ox-34 is a machine when it comes to Oz long distance riding. (www.farriders.com)

Back in the old days I used to do Sydney to Adelaide to visit my dad in a day.....1510km in 13 hours with a Uniden RD9 radar detector on the front. This is like doing Sydney to Adelaide every day for 9 days, I'd need an ambulance and a hospital after this ride...

Longest day ride I've done on the 'busa was Phillip Island to Central Coast. Bloody sore/stingy arse last hour, prayed for red traffic lights through Sydney just to stand up for a minute. about 1100km.
Don't know these guys (and girls Heidi) back up and do it day after day!!

2400k's melbourne to adelaide to mildura to melbourne
1 day + say a few hours,

Or melb-canberra-batesman bay-orbost-melbourne 1600k's in 20hours on busa
Or 19 hours on harley-yep ;)

Awesome ride with a group of like minded friends I maybe able to complete the distance. But alone it is an achievement.
