Pan rides the zx14 (1441)

I know others have created similar threads, but thought I'd add my 2 cents...

Our mate Kitmark (Copper 99 Busa), just bought one. I took it for a short ride and had a chat to him at length. (yes, he's keeping his Gen 1 for ever!)

Long story short, it's wonderful! Smooth, powerful, and, from what others that have taken it over 9000rpm say, it's unbelievable and quicker than a Gen 2...

I've ridden quite a few Gen 1's, a Gen 2 and I've ridden Blackzook's Gn 2 1441 at the track a couple of times and it felt violently quick when you wound it out, and extremely grunty down low. The Kwaka 1441 felt smoother... probably because Kitmark had silent pipes on it too.

Some have said it's heavy and it big. It's smaller and lighter than I expected...

I'd be happy on one of them!

(had to take a photo on it!)

Regardless of which is quicker I still prefer the looks and style of either Gen1 or Gen 2 Busa's over the Kwaka. My Gen1 will take pride of place in the living room eventually :)

Ditto!!

I think I'm gonna hafta takes me one for a test-ride and see what all the fuss is about.....but like kitmark, even if it totally impresses me to the point where I end up buying one, I'm certain that I'd never part with my busa in the process!!

It is those stupid grills on the side....the bike looks good from the front.

As much as I like the new 14, the Bus is still the best looking hyper-bike, by far.

Looks like my workmates' green ZZR250.......on 'roids.......Pi_freak

Still, the busa has that 'Cult-bike' hooligan status that is only earned through years of reputation. Any fast bike has that to contend with. Give it a few years and see how many are sold on reputation alone.

STREET CRED!

Slower riders like me can hide behind it sometimes......
