For no good reason, other than I havent had one,
and it was cheap, and the Mrs thought it was a good idea,
....I bought a GSX1400.
Full Yoshi pipe, Power commander, Pazzo levers, rack / top box,
flat bars, rad guard, fork brace, emmission crap removed and blanked,
Got a dent in the tank, and the clocks are F.U.B.A.R.
but not on any insurance register.
2008 model, 40,000k's.
Too cheap to say "no" to.
I always loved the look of those!

If ya smash it, the low ratio 1st gear'll fit the Busa's gearbox.
Tried buying USA aftermarket parts for it ?

Needs clocks, I can live with the dented tank untill one
turn's up at the right price. Cant find anything else it'll
need for a roadworthy, maybe a baffle in the Yoshi ?
Cost me exactly 1/8th of what I paid for the B-King.
I have a few things im going to buy and change on it
but the final bill on the road should be under $3000.

Wow I didn't expect anything that low! That's a LOT of bike for that price. Well done

Mrs bought me some KOSO RX2N clocks as a gift,
and I treated the 14 to a new Yuasa battery.....
Been fitting the clocks today....
Going to make some new bracket to mount it lower,
and will double check to speedo against my GPS,
but everything I wanted is now working. There's still
oil temp and air temp senders to play with sometime.
The bill now stands at just under $2600 ready for a roadworthy.
If I get bored or find cash, ill hide the clocks with a Kat fairing
or change the headlight light. Maybe....

I've never really been a fan of the Busa's tail /seat / rear end.
The way it slopes down reminds me of a dog dragging its arse,
I know its designed like that for a reason and works well.
I had to leave the back half the Busa alone as it was my
touring / ASF run / pillion bike.
Having the 14 will give me free reign on the Busa mods again.
14's are good lazy bikes, great for pillions and touring and
have an Old Skool retro look thats hard to date.
Competition for a Busa or B-King's performance they 'aint !!
The Koso clocks dont really suit the retro 14,
but looks arent high on the list for this project.
It all works well and is a tool to do a job.
