WillowBank 17th February
#1
Hey guys and gals its on again and this will be the last time Mike Grunwald will be involved as he is retiring from the shootout events here is a copy of the letter he has sent around

Evening all,

After some soul searching Janet, Maxine and myself have decided to hand over the reigns and February will be our last Shootout. Our businesses are becoming very demanding time wise and something had to give, unfortunately the things we enjoy the most are sometimes the things we must give up. The Shootouts started in February 2006 so this is one year and going strong and I have loved every one of them.

We (Dragbike-media) will continue to give gift vouchers as prizes and provide info on our website, we will also come to as many Shootouts as possible. I would like to thank ALL of you one last time for the absolutely terrific support and help with getting the message out and coming along to these events and for helping and providing assistance to new racers. I have said it before but will say it again, we could NOT have done it without you.

My sincere thanks to all our current and past sponsors and supporters.

Wolfracing Power Products
LAE Racing
Batteryworld Morayfield
Caboolture Motorcycles
www.australiandragbike.com.au
Rapid Bikes magazine
Reds Metal Polishing
MPE
Rick Rogers
Dave Gilbert
Superbike Supply
Dragbike-media

Finally my personal and sincere thanks to Dave Gilbert who got these events started and continues to be one of our staunchest supporters. Sue Syrmis from Willowbank-Raceway for her unwavering support of both the Shootouts and Janet and myself. Rick Rogers and his wife Michelle who gave me so much help from the very beginning and continues to support the events. Dave Wolf for terrific sponsorship and support of the Shootouts and a top fella, thanks Dave.

These events will continue and it is my belief and hope that they will just get bigger and better.

I hope most of you can make it on Feb 17 so I can thank you personally.

See you at the track.

Cheers

Have to work that day but I'm sure I'll be able to get an early pass. Are there any admission costs for children up too 12? I'll bring the bikes and the guys and the missus can bring the sheilas and kids, separately of course. NUTZ<i></i>

Rob, some of us are too worried about blowing the up at the drags the week before jindy, so I for one am sitting this one out. The usual meet-up with those going from other forums etc is still on - I think it is 12:30 at BP goodna. PM Bill (xhiler8er) he will know 4 sure Chopper says "Harden the f*** up Australia"<i></i>

gates open at 11.30 for rider training or 12.30 for racers
So it would be either leave BP at 11am or 12.00 pm to get there on time.
Will be sitting out with jindy the next week .
