Pretty good night. Low numbers of tin tops meant lots of runs. I managed 12 in 3 hrs. One rooted tyre was a worry. These Shinkos don't last long do they? 50 runs and it's past the tread depth! My best was a couple of 10.1s. Probably 2 nd best as a guy on a slammed R1 ran a 9.8! Very nice looking rig. No other Busas but a new XZ14 turned up. Started off around 11 and ended up with a best of 10.5. No work at all, straight off the floor, so he should continue to improve times fairly easy.
The rest of the bikes were a real mixture Hyongsangs, Harleys, VTR, 600s (a few) a couple of ZX10s, a couple 12s. Good night was had by all. I managed 1st place on reaction time on my first run since Dec 12th, but really a it was a fluke and eventually ended up 4th with 0.007 sec.
Managed to win 11 out of 12 runs. The loss was to dave on a ZX10. Last run, not too much tyre warming and we both slipped and slid in every gear, one in front then the other and went over the line neck and neck. What a hoot and a wild ride.
