Standard or Double Bubble ?!?!?
#1
Morning all,

Im looking to change my screen to a dark tint (Black).

Im unsure on whether to go with the Standard or Double Bubble.
How many people are running the Double Bubble? Are the wind resistant advantages noticable?

Thanks

I have a double bubble on my 09 busa and also had one on my 99 busa as well, if you are around the 5 ten mark in height you will appreciate the double bubble especiaaly as the speeds get up.

Do the double! Helps you see your gauges when sitting upright.

Considering how cheap screens are and how easy they are to install, get one of each and you can't go wrong.

If you go the double make sure you don't get one that refracts the sun causing it to melt your dash. I'm not sure if it was on this site that I saw pictures of this & I think it may only be the cheap Chinese variants that do this!!!!

Much of a muchness

Some cause the sun's rays to gather and melt bits of the dash... not sure if it's Puig or other brand... but can be fixed with a simple sticker... All the one's I've had are all basically the same... though someone said their's (Chinese) was not a good fit... Mine are both Chinese (on road bike and on track bike).

Mate,
If your 6' 4 go with the double, mine is a zero gravity just another option.

I got the Puig double on my bike. Very nice screen buddy and when I got mine very nicely priced.

without the double bubble you wont see the turn indicators.
With a double bubble you will have (slightly) less chance of leaving the indicators on! Lol3

Mine melted the dash, but with a tinted one you shouldn't have a problem. I now the busa club sticker on the front to stop the hotspot. They are heaps better. At 6'4" you really do need one.
