Heading out to my first trackday on the bus.
Should be a top day. Anybody wishing to join would be great. Nothing I'd love to see more than a couple of Suzuki's Finest on the track.

Would love to, but I've got worked booked in already.
Please post again when you go and I'll see if I can make it next time. I definitely prefer weekdays!

I think others have found out that GSXR DAYS does not include the GSX1300R Hayabusas.
Although I reckon it should.

I would love to do a track day on my bike but the insurance company says "No way HOSAY (jose)"

Ride within your limits and insurance won't be an issue

May not be just you that you have to worry about. I ride well within my limits, but it only takes some dude thinking, "I can get past this big fat Busa before turn 1", and he wipes you out from behind...

Stockie, I would, but I'm focussing on drags now that I have Shinko tyres on. Are you coming to the drags on 1 November?

Pan if someone is able to creep past you down the straight, you're either cruising? or their good enough to go around the outside. Its the ones your catching that jam on the brakes into turn one that get your attention.Keep doing the courses and it all gets easier and safer.A group is far safer than b and c as the skill level of the riders around you is higher.Dropping back a level to scrub tyres or bed in brakes confirms this everytime. 1min 55 pan is your goal for a safer riding environment(and your knee down ) Glenn the Spa Man

Awsome day out there Gazza.
Still a little scared
My first time out and also only riding a bike for the last 2.5 years, I've been thinking of going to one of the cornering and braking courses to improve my riding skills so i can enjoy it a bit more...

will go again very soon.....
Not to sure on the 14th, Kawa

We couldn't have asked for more..blue skies and good temp.

There were a few accidents in the morning which delayed the timetable.....all the bikes that went off track were registered and in my books all financial writeoffs........just gotta keep this in mind Stocky...just have fun as its easy to get into trouble and it really does spoil your day....it did my mates.

The ride days sound great but I haven't been on a race track for about 15 years and the last time was on an RG500! I would really hate to throw my Busa down the road, as well as myself down the road (very low tolerance to pain :-)) The courses sound interesting and a good way to get around the track safely in the beginning. Anyone have any info about them? A man's got to know his limitations :-)
