OEM fairing bolts
#1
hi guys, just wondering were to buy OEM style/quality fairing bolts, i havnt bothered ringing suzuki yet as they probly want $80 each for them, i have to replace a few that were ground off, just a couple from the RH side and nose cone, not keen on replacing the lot with ebay jobs as all i can find look to be the spike bolts

any help appreciated, will probly give susuki a call in the morning and see what they say

cheers, ash

Yeah wrecker would be your best bet. Im sure plenty of people would get fairings but still have there bolts from low sides, standstill falls etc.

if the bolts are as the picture then they are useless as the thread should stop 2/3 the way up the bolt so the bolt stops travelling and lock itself to stop coming loose, that is the difference between geniune and all those crap people try to sell the un suspecting, don"t buy em.

I've got some of those bolts and yes, they are not brilliant. Not bad if used in combination with some genuine bolts, but they do look significantly different if that's important to you.

Suzuki charged me $20 for one nut once, so I've been prepared to compromise a tad since.

Yours are probably ground down too much but any with light scratches put them in a drill and run some fine sandpaper over them, the metal is that soft they sand up looking better than stock
