Proof I wash my bike!!
#1
Bikes just had a service, new tyres (Power Pure) and new brake discs (Arashi = Galfer copies). Yes Running like a dream. And now it's even had a wash! The bike's my daily ride and sometimes gets serviced more often than its washed. So now it will probably rain tomorrow on the way to work.

Very nice! Show us some close-ups of the brakes if you can, and let us know your opinion of them in a few months too...

Mine is a disgrace. I haven't cleaned it since Phillip Island. I still have the sticker on it that says 'Heidi' from Tathra. It causes much hilarity when I ride it, people ask if I have my name on it so I can remember which bike is mine. Bastards. Quite embarrassing when I'm training the L platers.

After a few months and a few '000kms of riding the front disks are great. More bite than standard disks in the dry and still ok in the wet. Galfers may be better, but for the price these ones are hard to pass up.

Shame on you all guys Pi_freak At least you should not brag about it Confused If you look after your bike, it looks after you in return. The regular wash/clean/polish gives you a good chance to check for any bits that might have gotten loose. Before they fall off Scary

That's what the regular servicing is for! :) Commuting every day means service every few months.

1 year on and the bike's got another wash!!Lol2

Changes from last time include carbon instrument surrounds and zero gravity standard size screen. More boring stuff was K&N air filter and new fuel pump (and about 20,000km's).
