Where do i start,
First off a huge thanks to busa groper (ward) & the SA crew for the ride there & helping me with the lil fan issue i had,
& a huge thank you to BIG KEV & spamanglenn for getting me the replacement fan & getting it to me in tathra.
The loop ride was awesome on saturday i had a ball even the ride up and down the main street off bega was great.
It was really good to finaly put some faces to user names.
Also once again A very big thank you to everyone for making the trip very memerable & enjoyable. I felt like part of the family not just an outsider
THANK YOU everyone. I cant wait to see everyones pics.
Also i would like to thank Corban & Nathan for an awesome ride home. I still cant beleive i havent been on that road befor, just spectacular.
So much happened over the whole trip and if u wernt there u should have been, & better be next year cos i know i will be......

Yep,

I made it home safe & sound too, after a last minute decision to stay back an extra night and hang out with the SA crew!

On Sunday, we went on a lunch run to Bermaguie, and tried out the fish that RYDRZ recommended! We also got some great pics while we were there, which should be posted up some time soon!

We went "camping" on Sunday night.....and Greeny sure wants to bring the weirdest things on a camping trip!?! (thanks for keeping me highly amused and entertained on Sunday night guys!!!)

The run home on Monday (a 4.5hr ride) took me 7hrs!!! WTF!!!
I seem to ride very conservatively when I'm travelling home solo and getting over a HUGE weekend of riding and partying!! (either that or my pitstops get longer & longer for some "other" reason!?! My good friend and also arch-nemesis, wogboy [aka the Love God!!! lol] decided I'd be much more comfortable riding home with the last of my fresh underwear [3 pairs] all stuck together with super glue!!! Free-bagging all the way home in hot & sweaty leathers juz doesn't do it for me, for some unexplicable reason!!! lol (note to wogboy: this game we play is getting highly entertaining and extremely challenging...albeit slightly uncomfortable at times!!! lol)

It was also great to see virtually ALL of the faces from last years BB.....and even better to see & meet all the new ones!

A big "thumbs up" to 09sydrd (Nige) who put in a LOT of travelling time in an incredibly short space of time (leaving Sydney at 3:30am Sat. morning to make it down there to do the loop ride....and then riding all the way home on the same day!!!!) I had lots of fun trying to shake him on what I thought was the best section of the loop ride....but alas, that shit-hot & drop-dead sexy ZX10 hung with me ALL THE WAY!!!

Late Sat. arvo saw an impromptu fang up to Bermaguie with Tex, simmo, bonnetboy, Mal, RYDRZ and Timmy_O.......it WAS beer o'clock by this time for most....but I'm glad they talked me into joining them...coz this little ride was truly special.....definately lookin' forward to doing some more "alternative" style riding trips with Mal (TLR1000)!!!

I wasn't lucky enough to win any prizes or awards this year (hey...maybe there should have been an award for most intoximacated.....myself and wogboy woulda gladly shared it!! )....but I can live with that....coz seeing some of our "newbies" scoop some of the most coveted and hotly-contested "BOTY" awards as well as scoring some great prizes in the "Charity Raffle" was absolutely fantastic to witness, not to mention how many good $$$ were raised for a great cause!!! Congratulations guys....well done!!!

The Busa Bash at Tathra Beach is just one of those truly magical weekends that's incredibly easy to define....it's blessed with great weather, good times, awesome riding roads, and a huge party with kindred spirits.....

A HUGE thank you to each and every fellow Busa Basher that turned up to have lots of fun.....for making it the BEST Busa Party I've ever been to!!!

Also a BIG thanks to all the vendors that put up some awesome prizes to be won in the raffle!!!

Bring on the '11 Busa Bash >>>> even BIGGER & BETTER !!!!!




ps: The only downside to the w/end, was when one of our clan had a small off, injuring himself and scuffing his bike.....I hope you heal fast Glenn, and get that Busa back to looking its best very soon!
Three cheers to Bruce.....without a doubt the true hero of the whole weekend....who got to the BB late on sat arvo, and gave up precious riding & drinking time to do the (near 6hr round trip) rescue & recovery mission!!!! (I wish I had you in my corner any/every time I was down!!)
