Tathra - and bega Cheese + safety notice
#1
Greetings guys, im looking forward to all your crazy buggers visiting my new home town.

Any of you old speed demons planning on visiting Bega cheese ? I work there and will see if i can get you guys a group discount for coffee and refreshments ( no promise but will look into it if your going , but just be aware that you can not view the plant in operation you just visit the heritage center where you can view items and videos of within the plant. and of coarse purchase product

Warning - we are getting a NEW woolsworth complex in Bega and as a result of all the work and excavation there is a LOT of loose dirt and rock on the road especially from the very first round about at north bega. the dirt is of sandy nature and very unforgiving. just be aware of this when approaching bega / driving through

warning 2 - truck has crashed/ lots a lot of diesel on Brown mountain this afternoon ( 23rd nov ) its on one of the hair pin turns , heard the truck drivers talking about it on the CB and they mentioned there was a clean up crew on the way - and round here clean up crew usually means throw down 100 kg of sand and let the wind blow it away..... so just keep a sharp eye out - especially if your coming down early could be hazardous if the road is wet

now i have to catch up on all the goss as i have not been on this site for a few months .....
