Duplicate file finder

I just upgraded the laptop and copied all of my backup files from several locations to the new computer and find that I have a heap of duplicated files.

Is there a freeware program I can down load to find and help me delete duplicated files. I googled and tried a couple that were described as freeware but they were not free once installed.

Appreciate any help.
