Is the shift light stock on the BMW ? Needs a "job" done on the gearbox !

So if these bikes are stock, then top speed wise what do we have ? Who has the lowest top speed limiter or which speed limiter is the most accurate ???? All super quick bikes that go into an area of riding visited only by a very select group of riders

The humble hayabusa still seems to be the king of the 1/4 mile at least according to this test.. the new beemer has got more top end but is not all about top end and the busa is not too far behind anyway i know it is only one test but was done with the same rider on the same day so makes me proud about my busa the best bike ever....

And considering that the majority of us Busa owners register our bikes for road use, is top speed really that important (except for bragging rights with mates at the pub on Friday arvo?) You can lose your licence on most bikes these days, so who gives a rats arse that this one is faster than that one?

the top speed is no relevant any more but in the hallowed 1/4 is what warms my heart we still ruling even though must be feeling their breath behind us...

the topspeed bit is crap look at the revs the bmw is doing.... what speed would the busa do at 14000 redline instead of a easy long motor life 11000. when they do at speed test it should be done at a set rev range....this will get the bmw lovers arking up...

I really think the bmw would do 325 or 330 standard, well as long as its geared right.
No other mods.
Someone will give it a go at the salt im sure of it.

It would do 412 Km/hour theoreticlly. Go to attached link http://www.gearingcommander.com/

Put in 14000 at minimum RPM. Cheers,
