Tank Bags
#1
(If there's already a thread about these, I couldn't find it.)

I got an email from BGW yesterday, advertising this week's Mystery Product offer. - I hadn't realised that Joe Rocket make tank bags and was delighted to discover that BGW has them on special for only $49!!!!

I rode out to Narellan yesterday and came home with this:

For $49, the Joe Rocket Manta is unbeatable value.

I really like the size of it. I didn't want a large tank bag, (although they do have them, too); I wanted something that was just big enough to hold my keys, sunglasses, wallet, a drink and a couple of snacks.
The Joe Rocket Manta suits my needs perfectly.

The bag also has a carrying strap that can be attached, so you can wear it as a mini backpack, rather than just leaving it on your bike.

The magnets in it are very strong. Ride as fast as you like; this thing won't shift at all.

If anyone else is in need of a tank bag for day trips, I'd highly recommend they consider this product.

I wouldnt mind a smaller one.

I use an "OXFORD SPORTS".
A bit big but OK for 2 for overnighters or just me on longer run's.
Well made and sits solid at speed with just the magnets, not using the straps.
Expands up/down and came with the normal extra's
(water proof cover, rucksake strap's, map pocket etc)

Yeah, a tank bag that size would be good for longer trips but I already have a Ventura rack for that. But if I'm just heading out for the day, a small tank bag like the one I bought is perfect. And as I said, for $49 you can't go wrong!

I've already ordered one of these and waiting for it to turn up, good to hear what someone thought of it.

I've got the same Joe Rocket tank bag, but in RED. I've had it for nearly 12 months and it's great. Big enough to hold a wallet or purse, a special pocket for your phone (with a viewing window) and can be used as a bag/backpack.
