The rumor mill tells me that someone who spent more than twice what I did to build their 1441 (because they wanted to keep it all secret Roll

) has cast apsersions on my horse power results.

Tex has offered to run a dyno day at his workshop early in the new year for club members. I will pay for his time and for the cost of a BBQ for all who wish to attend. No lobster here guys were are talking sausages and stale bread rolls (bring your own sauce).

I'll leave it to Tex to nominate a date that suites his work load.

Would anyone like to see what their Busa actually produces at the rear wheel?

A word of warning Tex will not pander to your ego and give you 200+hp readings for your stock gen 2 with pipe (unlike some others that run several bikes without changing setup). You will get a printout of what it really produces at real current barometric, temp, altitude, gearing, etc for comparison purposes.

I am willing to bet $1.00 that Australia's fastest stockish length all motor gen 1 busa will not be able to attend. Wedding ann?, Kids birthday?, spa fitting?, Wifes bday?, swine flu? hair cut or alien invasion will surely get in the way Pi_tongue

my bike will be at tex's work shop mate im happy to pay for a dyno run as well i will attend ive never had my black n purple mistress of speed on a dyno and would be interested in seeing what shes got at the back tyre

Yeah, I'm up for that one, bruce......but I ain't puttin' my '99 on the dyno juz b4 or straight after yours (the hp difference would be way too embarrassing for me Pi_freak

I will bring the turbo just 4 fun. The old girl hasnt been ridden for nearly 2 years, I improved everything to the point where its unridable.

Would be interesting to see if it can beat 400 on pump fuel.

Leonard would be interesting to see how many hp it really takes to run a national record, I would bet that people who have huge hp would be amazed to see how few hp it really takes to run fast on a conservative tune with a great rider. 2 years or 20,000mtrs your warantee would beat Suzuki's Pi_tongue

Myself I'm more interested in a result than a pumped up claim to fame along with the usual pumped up fee also that's involved to feed the ego. Wtf

For anyone that has made or wish's to make the accusations, please do put it in print and as they say "put ya money where ya mouth is"

For the skeptics ............... sure figures can vary from dyno to dyno ........... but when you see stock bike against all motor bike on the SAME DYNO , it's the DIFFERENCE between the two HP & Torque values thats important. It's this difference between the two that show true gains obtained for work done.

Tycho don't worry about the onions, I will bring my GSX650F and give it a run on the dyno....that will sure make the Busa riders pleased with their results Lol3

1hotbusa is in also to find out what his bike can do, he is curious to see what it does since it performed poorly on the dyno at S&R Pro sometime ago. He also has a TSI on his bike which has never been mapped and Graham said that we can play with that if we want.

Hopefully this dyno day will be a Saturday or Sunday, otherwise we are out if it is a weekday.

+1 BabyBusa. If we combine the total HP of both our bikes together we should just about be able to match a Busa. Lol3
