front brake vibrations
#1
I'm getting some very slight vibrations coming from my front brake , when the brakes are cold its not there after a few applications it's back . Its an 08 busa , 10,000 k's , front tyre almost shot. If it were my car I would be thinking of getting my disc's machined . I'm looking for some thoughts on what it might be .
BTW I'm not hard on my brakes by any means

Don't know about the brakes, but change the tyre first & see if it still happens, a stuffed front tyre will vibrate the handle bars. do the disc look burnt

No Simmo they dont look burnt at all, when you say a stuffed front tyre will vibrate the handle bars do you mean only under braking or at all times

My guess is either a worn front tyre or slightly warped discs. I'm with Simmo, change the tyre first and see if it improves. You may only notice the problem under brakes (if the tyre is the problem) as the weight transfers forward onto the worn front tyre.

I found the reason for my vibrations , the front tyre has bad cupping , I like to run my tyres at 38 /38 I figure the recommended 42 would probably reduce the cupping ????
