13:1 is ok on premium fuel. Like anything it depends on the quality of the builder.

To really free up the motor head work will make the most difference with the cams and pistons.

Be aware that cams will move the power up the rev range gaining top end power at the expence of midrange.

cheers Bruce yer im sweet with losing some midrange i was hoping the increase in compression would make up for some of it but still playing with scenerios and how much it will all cost etc

The kit is one thing, then the install cost & time. Got well over 190 HP out of the K8 without even opening the motor up. For time & money spent, for xtra HP gains, better off Turbo Charging it

This mutha put out well over 270 HP for a K4. Motor was never opened.

Hope the hub worked OK. I'll give you an $80 discount on the Apex BPD if you buy it. Pi_thumbsup

hmm the 3k was going to include labour but i think i am stuck in middle ground where i will need to save like 6 unless someone buys my gsx1400 for a price in my favour im open to all unlikely offers in excess of $11,680 so say $17,680 ill throw in a bike lock too and half a tank of fuel
