Gen.II seat mods

Have read previous threads on here and also the one at EBC re keeping the grab rail whilst seat hump is attached.

1) Has anyone from here done it and if so, what solution did you use to alleviate the cut base plate with its two rear screw holes now missing. Pics would be good if you have them.

2) Can this be combined with the other hump mod where you use the inside of the hump for storage. I was thinking that the two rear missing screw holes may prevent this from securing properly.

I carried out this mod on my bike and posted instructions some time ago now. They were on the site but I can't seem to find them anymore. PM sent.
