Hi, I am looking for info from the collective 'busa wisdom on the site. Do any other taller suzuki mirrors from other models which will fit the gen 1 'busa? I have used the oncycle mirror risers on the standard mirrors but the lift is not enough for the lsl bar conversion I have just completed.
Cheers

P.S. I can attach a pic if the need arises.

Thanks BK. I hadn't thought of either option. Bar end mirrors don't appeal as the bars stick out far enough as it is. Getting posts and putting mirrors near the master cylinders is a good idea, one to follow up on if nothing else arises. I would prefer a set of higher mirrors off another model that would fit onto where the existing mirrors sit. That way I don't have to devise a way of covering up the base plates of the standard mirrors if I completely remove them. Hopefully others will see this post and have some helpful input.
Cheers

After looking at a few pics on bikesales, the B King mirrors do look as though they would do the job, don't they. I will have to try and find a B King in the flesh for a closer inspection. What are these block off's you refer to? Are they a plate that Suzuki or some other company supply?

Excellent B.K., and with a further search found black aluminum mirror base plate covers with the hayabusa logo, and others also, at very good prices. I'll keep this in mind if I have to move to stem mirrors off the handlebars near the master cylinders.
Cheers

Keep the mastercylinders as they are, just change the back half of the clamps for
GSX14 one's. I bought mine new from Suzuki, weren't too much $$$$.
Then you get a huge choice of bar's.
Mirror's are cheap aftermarket one's a mate got me.
I think they are similar to the MCS one's, MU23 and MU23L

Hi Tony, thanks for the info. Some time has passed since I posted this thread. Since then I have purchased new mirrors off the SV1000S (fairing version), and with the spacers I was using, they are terrific - give plenty of side and rear view, no vibration, and didn't require any adapter plate. This saved me having to go to mirrors off the bars. I discovered that there are a number of Suzuki models that have mirrors that fit by trolling on e-bay.
Cheers Mate

Thanks
Any chance of a pic with the new screen and mirrors ?

Hi Tony, I will try post a pic or 2 tomorrow. Glad you can file them away and perhaps find some use for them in the future.
Cheers
