Guys,
Any chance of turning off the automatic inclusion of the previous thread when you reply?
I dont know if this was a change with the recent upgrade but the inclusion of the previous thread in responses seem to have increased markedly and is making the board difficult and slow to read. In some instances the inclusions take up almost a full screen when the reply is only one sentence.
Thanks
Steven

THAT IS A CHOICE USED BY POSTERS WHEN REPLYING TO A PARTICULAR POST, IT QUOTES IT AND OFTEN A NUISANCE woops bruddy caps-aint redoing it. I nearly always use quick reply at the bottom so much quicker and easier but not when your quoting. so its more of an educational issue of educating member how to post correctly.

Yep, a Quick Reply doesn't include the previous person's post.

Folks,
Thanks for the responses to my suggestion, some of which were helpful.
From a design perspective I think most dont need to repeat the previous post in their response. If this is true surely it would be simpler to change the reply button at the bottom of each post to default to not copying the previouos thread rather than people having to scroll to the top of the page to use the new reply button?
This is no big deal, but it would make the board easier and quicker to use so if it is simple to do maybe it could be considered?
Cheers
Steven
