Just a quick, short and sweet hiya to all. We have only recently purchased our K5 after much, much looking, waiting and anticipating. Was looking seriously at a couple in various locations around Queensland as we spend a bit of time between here and Sunny Coast and what do you know, one pops up in home town Toowoomba, August/05 with 7000 k's. I dont have to rant and rave how good this ride is as i would only be preaching to the already converted, all i will say is that I am in awe of how good it feels underneath. Speed aside, the handling, ride, sound, etc, is brilliant.
This site gentlemen is great. I used a lot of the information on specs to research and make up my decision ages ago to purchase a busa and the general banter and good will and general feel of things make it a pleasure to lurk and check out posts and threads. Wife is happy as my viewing of internet porn has seriously decreased since discovering this site, lol. Congratulations to all involved in creating such a fantastic place for a group of enthusiasts.
Wife and I dont get in the riding we used to before our now 4 year old came along so combined with the usual duties and being a bit of a workoholic only get out when i can and both of us when we get a sitter. Give us/me a yell if a ride is on or anyone wants to meet to drool over bikes. Cheers to all, muzanddawn.

Hi again to all. Thanks for making us feel welcome and yes the new toy is getting a few k's on it and having a ball. Dawn rekons i have developed a certain mischievious look in my eyes that she hasnt seen for a while and i tend to have that warm fuzzy feeling everytime i get off the new ride.
She...i think its a she...is in the grey and silver, very few minor buff marks from previous boots but in mickey mouse condition. Have a few pics but can anyone assist in how i upload please, i thought i wasnt too bad on a computer (20 years in construction and now a trade teacher) but it has got me rattled how to put up a pic...cheers to all, muzanddawn
ps. on the sunnycoast week of the 8th of july

to the forum to you both.
To load a pict.
1st - resize it to about 1024 x 768 pixels.
2nd - start a "New reply" to your post.
3rd - type in a brief intro.
4th - scroll down to the very bottom and add attachment option.
5th - browse your pc for the photo and select it
6th - then load it to the forum. After it loads the screen will refresh with the name of the photo in the attachment area.
7th- place the curser where you want the pict to appear and then click on the "insert attachment" option.
(I think that is all).
