Plate Flippers??
#1
Hi,
Is anyone using or can recommend a good plate flipper. I am interested in getting one, for show use only, and have only been able to find the fastags one at http://mannsmotorsports.com/fastags/.

Can anyone tell me if they are using one and if so where it was purchased from and how much etc etc.

Cheers

I doubt anyone would admit to having one mate, But i'm pretty sure if you got caught with one on your bike on the road the fine would not be pretty...Not many white Busa's where i live so i'm easliy found plate or no plate.....

be a cool add on if you could get away with it.

I'm pretty sure I read elsewhere on this forum that they are mega illegal and the fine was around the $1000.00 mark but yep they are cool and wish I had the balls (and cash) to fit one to my bike !!

I've got one of these. Not sure if I'll fit it up or not. Maybe on the 330 rear end. Only for the PUB bike I recon.

I bought a undertail for my zx12 with one fitted, put it on for a little while but it flapped around abit and decided to take it off as it wasnt hooked up anyway. I recon a few others have em but aren't about to speak up. Not that i blame em.

Seen one that used a hinge and a cable pull wire, easy to spot if your looking for it.

I'd doubt that they were illegal to own, but it would cost $327 and 3 demerit pts in NSW if you were caught with your plate up. I could be wrong, the relevant fines in NSW are here;
