'02-up ECU swap to '99-'00 BUSA one ???
#1
Hi fellows,

i have the idea to install on my '00 BUSA a '02-up ECU (32bit version), for the capability of the 32bit one to be flashed and to have two maps available on run.

has anyone done this?
what do i need other than the ECU?

thank you very much!!!

270buck's.look on ebay USA i saw 2 there last week but freight is approx $50

You need to repin a couple of wires at the ecu connector and reverse the polarity of the crank sensor (reverse the wires in the ecu plug)
Can't remember which wires, but there is a big discussion on SuzukiHayabusa.org

Only what is asked in the first post by lensfare.
A lot of work for very little gain and no point on a road bike.

It gives you the ability to reflash the factory ecu. You can change basicly all the ecu settings. You need to know what your doing and a dyno or you could do some damage. GO to the other busa forums & http://www.boostbysmith.com/ecu.html for untold info. Leigh
