Just found this great site and had to register. Only just bought my Hayabusa, and love riding it, love working on it, love reading about it, and I'm sure will be playing with it for some time to come.
I had a Katana when they were near new and loved that too. The Hayabusa reminds me a lot of it, except the Hayabusa handles and stops - the Katana didn't really.
Regards to everybody - hope to see some of you out on the road.

G'day MonsterBusa and
Your last update is probably the easiest. Simply fit a TRE (Timing Retard Eliminator). You'll find lots of info about that on the forum.
I think Busa-Rod has a couple for sale at $50.00 each.
See his post in the "99 GPS root of the surging" discussion.

Hi MonsterBusa. Seems you and I have a similar history with bikes. Welcome aboard. You have probably found just the right mix of great information and light hearted BS. The sort of mix that makes the world go around.
Enjoy...........
