I have access in Victoria to a plotter/cutter machine and digitizer for setting up and cutting templates of Ventureshield clear protective films.
I wanted to know what people thought about if they would be beneficial for their bikes and cars and what they would be prepared to pay for various levels of kits.
If you guys dont mind taking the time to take part in the poll it would be appreciated and if it there is enough interest in the product I will gladly sell to forum members at a discounted rate.
It can be something as small as a headlight protector or full fairing and tank protection
Check out how tough this stuff is
Ventureshield
I hope this not breaching any site guidelines, so admin please let me know if it is.

Doh! I thought I could use multiple choice answers for the poll so please use the ticks as a yes and skip the Question about headlight, tank fairing or all.

Headlight protection sounds good. As for the price, $30 sounds pretty reasonable considering the normal plastic type go for $50+ and look crap.

As far as I am aware anything would be possible. Anything he does not have a template for can be mapped using the digitizer as long as he can get jis hands on that model to map from. In case anyone is not aware, a digitizer is an arm linked to a computer which can pinpoint coordinates in a 3d environment. There is actually mention of a digitizer in the last couple of rapid mags with the story on Greg Mcdonalds Computrack used for chassis design.
RB3221 - I will PM you with some more info and get you in touch with my contact.

Great idea. $50.00 for tank contact area is cool. No matter how hard you try and how careful you are this area cops a beating.
It's a week by week charade.

I am not sure how the film would go over the dome of the high beam area but we will make sure it will be a perfect fit before selling them.
I stuck an off cut of shield on my fairing this morning to see how it looks and it does not appear opaque at all. The only evidence of its existence is the visible line where the shield ends and th epaint carries on. It also has been designed to be able to be peeled off the paintwork without leaving the adhesive residue behind even after long periods of time.
I am off to the drags today (crewing not racing
![Wtf Wtf](https://www.australian-hayabusa-club.com/MyBB/images/smilies/wtf.gif)
) but I will put some more on the fairing and tank tomorrow and take some pics and post em.

I am very interstedin a kit that would cover front fiaring all over through to the sides - most kits I have looked at at scabby and only offer min protection for the $$ whats the point of not covering all the way to the sides - thats where a lot of the chips happen. If someone in Vic took thier K8 oevr and did a decent mappint to cover most frontal areas Properly count me in
Egos; everyone got one
I just had clear armour fitted to my k8 very happy with price & service. have a look at clear armour . com .au & he is just starting out in brissie cheers ballast
Would be interested please keep us informed.
