Time for last minute blinging and tuning before Jindy.
Sunday the 18th of February 2007
...from 12pm onwards...
I'm happy to have it at my place (Marrickville) although I no longer have a garage. Got everything we need; a car port, my Busa tool kit, racing stand and room for a BBQ!
I think it would be good to have a suspension set up day, possibly with people discussing what/how they adjust suspension. 1hotBusa is our local expert (and host of the last few spannering sessions - though we should give him a break). It would be good to adjust a couple of bikes while we all learned about HOW TO do it... so it would be good, if he's free, for Graham and others to share knowledge over a few drinks and food.
What else do people want to fix, adjust or bling-up on their bikes???

Aren't all Busas Copper & Plated, the others are just all very poor slow ugly copies !!!!!
I'd like my crash bobbin thingies put into the existing fairing holes as explained to me by one of the guys at the Penriff meet recently, - even though that'll mean the bike won't fit into the house anymore.
Do you need to heli-coil the frame for that TD?
Does anyone know about doing this? Anyone got the right tools?

Can't remember everyone's names, Pan, but one of the guys with a red/black busa has had it done and was talking me through it at the Penrith Doughnut night.
I'm sure Yoyo can help us out, the bolt hole has to be drilled out larger and the thread has to be retapped, I'm not sure on the new sliders if they are stepped in enought to fit into the fairing holes, I will have to have a look at a set somehow.
Cheers Robert

That would be me TD - depending on the sliders you have - mine are a one off, i used a 10mm bolt but had to retap it out to suit.

Hi there,
Thanks for the plug Pan, appreciated.
We can still have it at our place on the 18th Feb if you like. We will be kid free and this should be enough notice to clean up the garage. There is also the pergola out back if it does happen to rain (I used to say "fat chance" to that but December/January in Sydney is proving me wrong at the moment.)
Offer is on the table. Watch it if you go to Simmo's he has a big copper thing!!!!!
Regards
Graham

Had another think about it... I have a car port on a sloping driveway. May not be too easy to work on a few bikes here.
If you don't mind Graham it may be best to meet at your place again, especially since your place IS the HQ of Sydney Spannering Sessions!
Also, do you know how to take a link out of my chain? It's quite stretched back, and I'm going to try a 38T for Jindy.

Where are you based Graham?
