Bluetooth Intercom
#1
G'day,

A few of us are looking at buying a bluetooth intercom for the Busa to allow rider to pillion, bike to bike, phone & GPS comms whilst underway. The one that looks the best so far is the Cardo Scala Q2 headset,

Does anyone have one of these? Any feedback from people currently using or who have previously used a system would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Some people are like Slinkies ... not really good for anything, but you can't help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

I have a blue ant installed in my lid and its only good up to 90-100 kmh than the thing is useless.I wear a neck protector which usually helps keep the wind noise out but still hard to hear.Waste of money imo!!!

Blueant brand of anything are pretty much crap.
Blueant is purely a brand name stuck on an OEM product. (like a lot of things) All blueant stuff is made by a Korean company called STARZ, then they just get the name printed on it.

I had some Blueant stuff yrs ago & it was crap. Had them replaced several times by the co, but all replacements were also crap.
That's when I found out where it comes from as I had to do considerable research & digging to get any form of warranty.

When I bought my new car (2007 model) the dealer put a Blueant ph system in the car. I cracked up right at the beginning. The dealer replaced it 5mths ago with a better brand as the Blueant stopped working.

A few yrs back Blueant had to recall something like 100,000 ear pieces because the Korean factory stuffed up.

Pretty piss poor brand I reckon. Certainly not worth the money.

I guess that the problem with these things on a bike is going to be wind noise, manufacturers dont want deafness compo claims so they limit the volume output, might need to work on sealing out helmet wind noise.
