Marto is a known swordmaker of Toledo Spain and recognised as manufacturing quality swords and originals as well as replicas unlike all the cheap garbage coming out of pakistan and asia.

Some brave "men" there alright Max..........but the old man had only just turned 18.
He didn't last long though, reckoned Fritz threw a whizzbang at him, blew him up & stuffed his leg up. He went down & copped a bayonet in the back but survived to be taken prisoner. He always praised the German army surgeons for saving his leg though ....good at infection control...

Yeh not like the good old pomies, a young underaged soldier 16 (JUST) had enough ,got wounded come back to the trenches got bombed again so he decided to have a rest at a near by farm, he went to sleep and was woken by the pommy guards taken back went to court and then was shot like a dog ...fucken 16 yrs old.

My mother's mum lost two brothers on the Somme. Hard to see the battlefield now, it's all just farming land and small towns now. Very brutal times. Pomms have always been c#nts to their soldiers. After Breaker Morant they were universally hated by Australian fighting men. Morant was a scoundrel but should have been tried by his Australian peers not the Poms where were looking for someone tomake an example of. Max ![]() ![]() ![]()

Must have been your maternal grand uncles Max....how does a family recover from that ? makes you wonder how much better this country would be now if we could just wave a magic wand & get all those blokes back again....what a waste..
Yeah kawa the pom army plays for keeps. I heard that a recruit was found shot dead on his base a few years ago..............they reckon a sarmajor was the top suspect but he got transferred somewhere else.. A lot of those aggro types must have taken it in the back from their own troops. If you treat blokes like that then turn your back on them, you do so at your own peril ![]()

not authentic jap steel, rather chinese. real jap stuff is well over 10 grand a piece and very limited allowed for export maybe 15 a year i hear. can always get authentic ww2 jap swords but theyre usually beaten up and well rusted.
Paul Chen (USA) created his own brand named Hanwei using chinese forges according to his specs. His swords are as close as you get to authentic jap and affordable. Ive got a Practical Plus for US185+shipping. And theyre a full cutting sword. Have a few other by Global Gear. Good site to read more http://www.sword-buyers-guide.com/authen...words.html ![]()

So do you mind me asking how many you have? Swords that is. I hate the whole you need a licence for swords etc now, another taxpayer scam,30 dollars a year or not i still think its bullshit. Something we never had to pay for an now we do ![]() Im currently reading that site haha. Im liking the "wind katana" alot! An the monster beaters seem unreal.. Once the bikes fixed, might have to invest in one of those bad boys ![]() We have much to talk about haha! a few katanas, a few wall hangers and that Marto. Yes and licensed, one has to be in VIC. But no big deal at $25 thru Australian Knife Collectors (AKC) in Perth.
