Lincoln Hall

Lincoln Hall came to the National Library on Saturday to give a talk. he is the bloke that was left for dead on Everest last year, spent the night at over 8 000 feet with no supplies and was sitting up waiting when the first group passed him the next morning. He lost a few toes and fingers, but he got down alive.

If you get a chance, read his story of it, Dead Lucky. Even if you're not a big reader, it is a RIPPER of a story. I started it yesterday at 11am and didn't put it down until I finished at 3pm. it is interesting to see how someone reacts to extremes of nature and it is just a damn good story.
