You're lucky not having the front ducts still in use, I am struggling to fit the HID units in!

make sure you get some good outside pics Bruce while everything is fresh. She looks great. I bet you have a fancy camera in the back of the cupboard somewhere. You planning on having her down and out this weekend?

bear Wrote:You're lucky not having the front ducts still in use, I am struggling to fit the HID units in! Hey Bear,
they both go on top of the right intake duct. We put one in as close to the front of the duct as we could and on top of some double sided tape, then stuck a cable tie around it, cables facing out of the left side. The second goes as deep as you can go under the plastic cover still on the bike. (Bearing in mind that you have lifted the plactic guard to tank cover to do the job and left the fairing to tank plastic cover on.) and with the cables facing towards the front of the bike. More double sided tape, another cable tie and Bob's your uncle.
Cheers
Max

Ian,
Do a bit of reading on halo's before you lash out, I have read of them failing and falling to pieces fairly quickly.

I haven't bought the Halos yet, was wondering. I have too much on my plate right now, but point taken, won't lash out till I get good feedback.
Still might recess units into plastic body oof light though, seems like a neat solution.

Mate that looks fantastic, I hope that is the only damage it ever suffers.....
I bet you are pissed at that little explosion.

She's looking very schmick Bruce, you must be happy with the direction you are taking her.
Dropping them like that sucks. Hope that's the only time she bites the dust.
