Put a big hose through the lot of the dicks. "And let me say this"

Paperwork has been sent.bike is having a chain guard and lanyard fitted and tech inspected. It might be back next week,if not the next.I,m sulking a bit because the bike isn,t tucked in at home, hence the toying with the r6.(it really does feel like a toy). Now if i can convince dad to get his tech inspected i could have a back up bike if and when i pull the rocker cover off.If i have the licence what is the cost to make a bike legal under 10?is it just a lanyard, chainguard and tech inspection and log book?

Yes that is correct about the bike.

Now I must say that you really are a silly boy because in my book when someone comes to you before the meeting and says OK guys if you run under 10sec you are going home. I would have taken that as a warning and made sure that if I still wanted to play without the Lic etc I would have shut it off before running the 9.

I must say I do take offence to being called ruthless because as far as I am concerned if I was ruthless you would not have been warned and you would have been sent home a couple of meetings ago.
You guys on the bikes have had a real fair go. The car guys dont get any sort of warning at all.

How many other street meets have you been to and runs 9 I ask you. Before Leonard had a Lic he went out to a street meet and on the first run he run a 10 and was sold a super street lic. On the second run he run a 9 and was then promptly sent home to get his UDL lic.

Hey if you want to play in the Drag Racing sand pit then you have to play by the rules. I am not saying that I agree with all the rules but it is my job to enforce them.

Cheers Dee

Didn,t mean to offend. It was more a stirr than an accusation. In regards to the rules it will be interesting to see if the new busa with a half decent rider dead stock breaks 10.You can road register it and the rta,s happy yet to use it,s potential at the drags it,ll have to have an andra licence and have the bike teched?I have no excuse as mine is lowered to purposely lower my et as stock height and talent it was legal.I wonder how many showroom stock roadcars break 11 seconds.I think bikes have caught up with the cutoffs alot more than cars have. Thanks for the heads up about the second bike.(i,ve run 3 nine second passes).

You can read all about how they do 9.7s' on stock 99-07 in the States, bet they'll be gunning for high 8's on the 08, must be something wrong with Aussies eh?

Heidi - You are on your 5th Busa now, you must have the patience, strength and fortitude of Mother Theresa to wait for track days Ghastly

And - whilst I'm on the subject of over the top velocity, we know how a woman shows her displeasure with her pinky when she sees a man hooning around - How are we as males supposed to show our displeasure at women hooning around the streets? (plenty of them around!).
Do we cup our hands to form a womans ................?
Are we going to see ads on tv and posters around with men forming womens bits with their hands and shaking thier heads?
Do we wave our hands past our hips to signify we think the female driver has a grande derriere?
Do we rub our fingers under our eyes to say that her make up looks worse than Alice Coopers today?
I could go on - but you get my drift! Pi_tongue

Disclaimer: Present female members excepted and Mrs Ruffy of course Smitten

Sorry about the Hijacked

Another week wait.Apparently $132 doesn,t get you a medical with a properly filled out form from the doctor.Hence back from S.A to nsw to fill in 2 lines then back to S.A then back to nsw.I wonder if the express mail vans go past any drags strips on their route. If their not careful they may need an andra licence(heaven forbid).Idiot2
