Rego rip off Victoria
#16
Some things are cheaper in Victoria
My father just bought a new caravan( 2nd hand) , including stamp duty it was going to cost him $950 to rego in NSW.

He gave it to me, (well stores it at my place in victoria anyway), the VIC eqivalent came in at $48 and that included $14 for the new number plate.

So all you need to do is try and convince VIC roads that a hayabusa is a really small caravan!

The way to sort it.....nobody pays rego. Then everybody drives unregistered and uninsured. Legal system is already overloaded so it wont be ready for 10 million motorists. NSW has the highest cost of living for any state and the worst infrastructure. Yet nobody has asked Bob Carr or his successor where the extra money from the property boom went.

Well that's my 0.02c worth. Just dont get me started on people who breach AVO's or do wierd shit to their kids and then get slapped on the wrist with a wet bus ticket.
