Hi guys,
My Internet Service Provider for my home account has gone belly up for the time being and they have lost a zillion accounts.
(K00EE)
I can only access these pages via my work connection and will continue to check it briefly every afternoon before we go.
If anybody needs to contact me please use the mobile number I posted a couple of days ago.

See you at Pennant Hills Maccas. I'm coming up Pennant Hills Road from Parramatta so hope there is only 1 maccas on the left as you go towards the F3. Or we could end up at different Maccas.

See you then Regards

Well most of us are home again...

Dramas - yes we had a few.
From the South we had a fabulous ride up with a slight hiccup when Franko fell asleep at a T intersection and toppled over.
Those early morning starts get hard in Winter.
(He didn't really fall asleep, it just popped on to its side).
We passed Shayne and Gaz from qld heading down Thunderbolt's on Saturday morning. (Head on speed about 500k)
Great ride from there with the Sydney group heading straight to Armidale from Walcha and I dropped down to Ginger's Creek and back in the arvo. There will be a few of my photos in the Club Rides section. Cowboy went mad with the camera and I'm sure there will be many pics to come.
We copped some light overnight rain on Saturday night which slowed us up a bit getting organised for the Sunday sessions.
We rode on damp roads to Walcha and it looked black all round.
The 2 FJRs dumped it and went home via Thunderbolt's but I was told they got as far as the Forrest and it cleared to bright blue sky with a top ride home.
The main group headed for Ginger's and found clear sky about 1 k out of Walcha and except for a couple of wet spots, we had a great clear run down the Oxley.
Andrew from Brissy had the lead on his SP1 and tucked the front wheel under on a tight right hander just above the Seaview Resort.
He was very lucky not to go over the edge of a 30metre drop.
Saved by his bike collecting a two inch water pipe holding up a road sign. This pipe left a deep gorge in the top of Andrew's tank and his VTR sufferred other cosmetic damage.
Andrew was given a lift down to the Port Mac. hospital by a passing nurse. ( Bad luck turns to Good luck )
I stayed with him till they trundled him off to Xray and found he has a fractured collar bone, strained rib cartlidge and a slightly strained wrist.
He ended up staying the night at Driller's place and his bike got a night at the resort.
Andrew would like to thank all the guys who helped sort out the situation.
The ride home for me from Port was a great evening ride down the highway. Freeway cruising at night can be fun

Just a short thank you to Ray and Cowboy for the invite to join you on the Armidale ride.
I had a fantastic time and the company was great.

Sorry to hear one of the group has a problem however I understand he is ok which was good news.

Sounds like Curley and myself could have riden the Oxley on the Sunday as Ray said the weather was good. Anyway we had a good run down thunderbolts.

Again thanks for the ride and I hope I can join you all again in the future

By the way I think the Busa is agreat bike, But the FJR is still the best bike with LUGGAGE and I would not swap it for the world. You guys talk about your Busa the same as we do about our EFFYs. Imagine if everyone loved the same bike, what a boring old world it would be. I mean who would we take the micky out of then.

Best Wishes

Hi to all,
hope everyone else got home safe and well. I had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone. It's good to be able to put a few more faces to the names I see posting on the board.
I hope you all enjoyed the wonderful New England weather. Let us know if any of you are heading through this way, it's always good to catch up.
We should make it an annual event the Oxley Run Winter Bash.
Thanks cowboy for kicking it off, catch up with you soon.
