Thats why I like Chris Vermuelin. He has to fight an absolute pig to get the results that he does. That is why his win 2 races ago in conditions that made that meet a level playing field something to hang his helmet on. He was against the experience Rossi and others and held his own. I mean no disrespect to Suzuki with the pig call but that is what his bike is compared to Rossi's, Stoner's and Pedrosa's bikes

Brilliant race, and I think I taped it Blackzook! I agree about both Stoner and Vermuelin. Stoner used to toss his 250 into the gravel regularly while trying overly hard to win, so he really has become very mature in just staying upright. In Mugello, he rode to finish and take points on tyres that were not up to the Michelins. When he can win, he does. Chris' Suzuki isn't so much of a pig, Hopkins seems to punt it along OK in the dry. But Chris is the wet weather master for sure. Capirosi is a strange one, starts well sometimes, leads the race but as soon as he is passed, just goes backwards! Roll on Stoner for the title!

Rossi is number one no doubt but give credit where it is due,Rossi has been on the Yamy for over three years now so it's well developed & he can ride. Stoner has been on the Duke for six rounds & is winning,its not just the bike Caporossi has same & not doing well. You work it out Gassick

Not once have I said that Stoner can't ride. He has done his apprenticeship and now he is doing what he needs to so he can succeed at the elite level and good on him. Caparossi, good rider not a great rider. The difference between Caparossi and Stoner is that Stoner has the potentail to become a great rider. Mick Doohan great rider, had team mate Alex Creville who rode a Honda out of the same work shop, but Mick had that little extra which made him world champion. All I am saying is that Stoner is doing a brilliant job of piloting the quickest machine on the circuit at the moment and as an :ausflag: I hope he brings the home. So if there is any maths to be done it is "read the lines that are in front of you, not what you like to interpret from between them"
