You would need to get some chains for the bike seem its ski season open that weekend :-)

F.Y.I.

If you're going to Buffalo, the ski lodge at Cresta has been burnt down.
This means that there wont be any ski traffic going up there.

The Chalet is fine but is at present closed, so the gates up to Buffalo are also not manned at the moment.  

Had a great flog up there in January, but think June would be downright dangerous.  Wet blind corners, fog, misty rain, just don't sound like fun to me.

Better to stay down on the windy flat roads around.

My chick was going to go to QLD but isnt now so I will probably hang out with her cause she is way cooler than you guys. I would still be interested in a day trip somewhere if you guys dont do a weekend deal.

too cold for massively long trips :( well - unless its a nice day - but I am willing to go for a full day ride anytime ;)
