When I first joined this cyberclub a couple of years ago, there was a thread where members posted the VIN number of their Busa.

Reading Volvi's "History Of The Club" story reminded me of it.

For Australian Busas the production line number is the last 5 digits of the full VIN.

So mine is a 99 Red / Black VIN # 00072 first registered on 01May99.  Just had it's 8th birthday...

Garbo's computer is out of action at the moment but we checked his bike this morning.
It is a Blue / Silver Jan 00 compliance, production number 00714.

Braddo's brand new busa with 1 klm on the clock is a Black Apr 07 compliance, production number 03199.

I may be wrong here but I think you might need to adjust your glasses Slowandsteady.
I think you have the numbers out of sequence.
Only the last 5 digits are the number and your's must be in the 3000 bracket somewhere if it is an 07 model.
If Brad's is 3199, I'm guessing yours is 3196.
