Windows Vista?

Just wondering if anyone has Windows Vista?

I have it at the moment - duel booting between XP pro SP2 & Vista Ultimate.

Tried it in a Virtual PC first - the version I have..... umm, is a ...... test... copy... that works 100% ;) ;)

I am actually using the new firefox right now & posting from the Vista install.

Tis not too bad...

will try the 64bit version when some more drivers come out. At this stage i have a few devices that I wont be able to use due to the lack of such drivers

i have been hesitant because of the driver issues too and also that I heard it has more bells and whistles and as usual uses more ram...so we have to buy faster machines yet again....I'm happy with Xp at the mo...

yeah I got an extra gig of ram coz I knew it was coming out.

I can give you a copy of my Vista Ultimate if ya's want ;)
then you can try it out & see if others on the web have found a way to get stuff working with out problems...

You can setup duel boot or if you want you can download some software from Vmware.com & run a virtual PC & install it ;) just like a real PC - works in windows so no duel boot - you just can't really get a good feel for Vista tho but you can still see it work fine ;) - of course the software to do this is FREE!! as well ;) check it at:

nah - its just that I LOVE that software & what it does I reckon is really cool ;) - I'll reboot to win XP & fire up 2 VMware servers & take a screen shot ;)

EDIT*

ok - my sys spec here:

Desktop screen shot of running Windows VIsta as a virtual PC in Windows XP :) got all that?

I also decided that while I had the Vista virtual PC going - that I'd start up my windows 2003 Virtual server at the same time & screen shot my task manager with it ;)
