Jindabyne or Not

I'd love to do Tassie, but probably not for the Busa convention.

Up around North NSW sounds good...

Victorians could stay over with most of us in Sydney on the first night, then we could all head up together on the next day to meet the Banana-benders...

Batemans Bay looks like a good spot i have never been there so someone else could shed some light on the place .
then you could do a good day ride to jindy and the Kosciusko national park or for short ride there is a few national parks around Batemans Bay. could be a nice coast ride for both Vic & NSW,QLD riders and Raz & Co can still go the hills way through jindy to Batemans Bay .
I do think there is enough intrest to do a tassie trip as a seperate ride

now ya talkin Rod - I have done most of the runs around batemans - clyde mountian rocks :) kangaroo valley - but your right - from there getting to the jindy ride areas aint far at all & heaps of options if it rains because of all the runs you can find around those areas :)

I'd vote for that for sure!! great thinking!!

Port sounds great. No matter where it is this time,I'll be there as I now have the luxury of holidays.Tassie has some of the best road surfaces and scenery in the world if comments from other riders are to be believed. I'M IN.... GARBO

Are we really having this discussion again! The Convention has been held at Jindy 3 times and it has rained everytime!!

I would like to see it North of Sydney for a change but the consensus rules, put it to the vote, see what happens.

Ok, I'll further refine my list to say Armidale, Singleton (Hunter Valley), or Port Macquarie.

All three have everything we need to have a fantastic couple of days.
We have members in all three locations who I'm sure could scout out the best accommodation deals around their towns.
My first consideration is a great venue and second is the best riding roads possible.

I like your thinking Busgo ! If it's not in Mexico again I will try and make it next time. Let's drop Singleton from the list and keep thinking north. Armidale and Port would be great.

I would vote for Pt macquarie any time but what about the Police content. Problem being - 1 infringement could mean the loss of your licence. That's a really big deal. That's about the only thing Jindabyne has going for it - look at our run into there this year, 280s+ and no coppers.

Could we do that anywhere else? - three years in aq row and still no bookings.
