I reckon a couple of warm jackets is the go at the moment. Of course, they should be top shelf, low price and fully busa'd up. I have three type in mind.

The first one is called the 'stadium'. Comes in just about every size and a shedload of colours. I think $99 delivered is pretty hard to beat.

The next one is called the 'trinity'. It has some pretty cool features like a removable vest and is reversible. This is the jacket used by HRT. This one is a little more expensive to build but I think $125 delivered is still an excellent price.

The last one is called the 'Bathurst'. This is another great jacket. Comes in all the sizes and nice colour combos. $99 for this one too. Delivered of course.

Would they be weather-proof Geln?
The first looks like the chunkiest, which is what I'd be after when riding through the city in the winter. I could just put my leather jacket under it...

They are all waterproof and wind-proof, Pan. They are all pretty heavy construction. The image for the first one is just the best photograph. The second one is the heaviest of the lot, particularly with the vest inside. They are all ski-shop warm sort of thing and will last years and years. I reckon the first one is actually the lightest of the three.

just dont go getting these ones in glen nice worm jacket but as i found out not wind rated thing just pealed of my back as i was riding they did send me a new one and advised that they are not desigened for riding i think i worked that part out

The idea is staying busariffic when not on the bike too. Casual wear. Not designed for riding. I have tons of riding jackets. What Pan was talking about was sticking it on over his regular jacket for a ride to work in Melbourne at commuter speeds. It would do that easy enough but there aren't too many skiers going 300km/h. lol. Not deliberately anyway.

I can see what you mean on that jacket, Rod. It certainly gives the impression by the cut that it is for riding.

Glen - are you doing the willie warmers again this year mate? I may have to try a smaller one this year as last year I got it caught between my boot and the gear lever a few times which left it red and swollen.
That idea you had of putting some velcro strips on the frame to hold it in place worked a treat mate - i'm always very careful not to get it caught in the chain as you can imagine!
It hurts when someone points and comments about the size of my willie, so disguising the warmer as a braided line was a stroke of genius.

I haven't made a willy warmer in ages. lol. Not good on all the damage you are doing to yourself. Don't worry, you get used to it. Give me a call so we can talk about the lids. We probably should compare notes. Since the jackets are a hit, just like last year, (insert dumb look ), take a look at this thing. It is part of a massive kit for a Dreamryder overseas. The whole theme is stars and stripes. Come out really cool looking but I thought this was pretty unique.
