How obsessed are you?

How many motorcycle magazines do you read a month?

Any favorites (Mine is BIKE published in the UK)

How often do you clean the bike even if you don't ride it?

Bike mags - whatever is lying around - Am not subscribed to any, but grab one or two if I walk through a store. I find AMCN (Australian Motorcycle News) one of the more balanced and has quite a good, readable format.

Bike clean, about once a week.

I normally only buy the AMCN once a fortnight, unless I see another Mag that looks interesting..

Fast Bikes, Performance Bikes, BIKE, 2 Wheels AMCN ... really whatever's in the shop ..

I have never washed the bike - it's never been in the rain which helps .. .

Then I must be off the deep end,

Cycle World, Sport Rider, Motorcyclists, Bike, Performance Bikes then daily
on the web at motorcycledailynews.com and motoworld as well as motorcycle
.com.

Clean the bike each week and if there is any dust on it......

A dirty bike means a 1%er over here in the US. No pride in your ride = squid.

Different philosophy maybe....

no pride?
My Hayabusa is almost always the dirtiest when my friends and I go for a ride. However unlike them I ride it 24/7, 365 days of the year, I dont have a car.
Especially in winter it goes for weeks without more than a quick wash of the fairing.
But then perhaps I have a different commitment to riding.

As for mags?
AMCN(aussie), Performance Bikes, Superbike, Streetbike (aussie) and an odd other one.. no US mags except one (whos name I forget) which does some nice racing shots.

As for online, 3 newsgroups, my website and a fair bit scanning.. I still think I'm the best Bike Scanner on the net, aint seen anyone else as good and as consistent..

Don't know if the commitment is different, my last bike had 38,000 miles on it
and this one already has 18,000 and I lose 4 months a year to snow. We
just see you as someone who rides a motorcycle and not a motorcyclist...
