I'm getting a Corbin seat tomorrow - sick of slipping into the tank on those hard stops.

I'll let you know how it goes....

for something thats held on with two bolts to be that much trouble, something must be wrong?

Oh it's just a tight fit which means aligning the bolt holes is a pain in the butt - especially seeing you have to sit on the seat while mounting it ... errr that sounds a bit rude ...

Anyhow it's getting fitted today along with the cam chain re-call....

Cannot recommend the Corbin enough - it's more like a saddle - holds your butt in place - stops you from sliding forward on braking and back when accelerating - much more comfortable than sitting on the marshmellow it comes with. They have won a customer for life.

p.s. Just saw the new Honda SP-1 at Action - looks great! (If you like superbike class V twins that is ... )
