One point i must stress is that each rider will need to bring an extra lid and jacket for their pillion - a summer one if you have it as these kids don't have any gear.
Cheers Ruffy
Bruce,
I've put in a leave rec for the 17th and 18th so I can get to this event. I'll bring my camera with me.
Cheers

I've just spoken to Kath - one of the organisers and the route will be from Stanwell park across to Bulli Pass, down and around the coastline across the new bridge about 45 mins worth and stopping for a bbq - they have about 80 bikes but need another 20 so that everyone will ride as a group once around the circuit.
If you have extra gear but you arent able to carry it - let me know as they will be having some vehicles travelling from Sydney as support.
We will organise a starting point here - but all bikes will meet about 1 klm from the Stanwell Park, so we all arrive together for the kids.

I'll be there .....with Max ( Max says he's coming in an ealier post)
Just spoke to my Boss about taking leave.
He has allowed me to take my Friday night and Saturday night shifts off. Have to go back to work 5:30 pm Sunday though.
Hopefully I'll have my Yoshi cans back on by then. Otherwise it will be a quiet ride.
Hey Ruffy
I just spoke to Kath as well (she thinks you are LOVELY) and have booked in the three Canberra bikes. She now has my email and will contact me to organise this end of the mob. Do you want to pick a meet point and we can all ride together? Otherwise, we can meet at the convention centre. I'm letting Max navigate though, I get quite famously lost. I'm good at stuff, navigating isn't it.
HEIDI xxx
P.S. I'll be bringing a spare lid and gloves. I know Max has a spare lid, what about you Les. I have two spares.
I'll bring my daughter's jacket, gloves and lid.
She no longer has a bike so she wont object.
Great news re the gear. I told Kath that I only have a lid and gloves, and she said it was fine as they are sourcing as much as they can in Sydney. Apparently jackets aren't as much of a problem, they've tracked down quite a few, but helmets are. All the participants are being told to wear jeans, boots and sturdy clothing, no-one in shorts or stupid shoes will be allowed to participate.
They are doing a great job of organising this!
P.S. How cool is THIS! I'm going to spend three weekends in Feb with the Sydney mob. I'll be seeing more of you ugly bastards than I do of my family!
