Project Busa back on the road.....!

Well it's been over 2 months but I finally paid off my bills and got my Busa back.....

And let me tell ya "she fu#king screams" it was well worth the wait. No more flat spots or kangaroo starts from the lights anymore, she purrs like a kitten and growls like a siberian tiger....

Just a quick rundown on what needed changing and doing to get it back on track.
1. New yoshi cams
2. New cam chain
3. New tensioner
4. Clutch mod, tre mod, PAIR mod completed
5. Injectors cleaned, oil flushed (twice)
6. remap and cams dialled in
7. Blah, blah, blah........you know the rest

All in all I lost 2 bhp up top but gained under 3500 rpms for better everyday riding.
Overall bhp....202

Results on the BrockHindle Gen-3 is that it's better suited for bigger applications such as a big bore or stroker kit or even NOS. It made a little more than the Yoshi but due to the cams being changed from SBK spec to stage 1 yoshi's which is were methinks iv'e lost ze horsepower......(I need to send the pics to somebody to post, any takers?)

But all in all I'm as happy as Larry.

So if the weather keeps up I'll be seeing you all at the ride on Sundy.

Sounds great Paul. Love to throw the leg over that machine. Makes my 172 RWHP a bit shabby. But it all comes at a cost, I'd hate to think how much has been spent on project Busa???
I know what I'd do if a lazy $2500....Nos!
I think bigshow is still O/S. You"ll know when he's back.

Project peewee:

just finished strapping a Nos to me nephew's peewee 50. damn thing out accelerates the bus, does the quarter in under 9, and bloody quick around the corners too. i'm taking it to get a turbo fitted next week. only problem is you gotta be under 4 ft tall to ride it!
